Serenith

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Serenith is a personal planning and reflection app. This Privacy Policy explains how Serenith handles information when you use the app.

Serenith is operated by Itzhak Salonikov, based in Israel.

Your data stays yours

The things you write and create in Serenith are your data. This includes workspace names, daily plans and reflections, priorities, weekly structure, Current Landscape items and reports, and app settings.

Your data is stored on your device. If you have iCloud enabled for Serenith, it is synced through Apple CloudKit to your own iCloud account, so it can be available on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

Serenith does not run its own account system. We do not receive your Apple Account email address, read your iCloud data outside of Serenith, or send your planning and reflection content to our servers or to third parties.

The optional, separate services described below receive only limited technical or anonymous usage information if you choose to enable them. They never receive the content you create in Serenith.

Optional analytics

If you explicitly choose to allow it, Serenith collects anonymous usage analytics through Firebase Analytics. This helps us understand which parts of the app are useful and improve the product.

Analytics may include feature usage, coarse event metadata, simple counts, aggregate duration totals, and an anonymous randomly generated identifier. Serenith does not send the text you enter, workspace names, item names, goal content, report history, exact dates, Apple Account information, device name, or direct identifiers as analytics events.

Analytics are off by default. You can turn them on or off at any time in Serenith's Settings.

Optional crash reports and diagnostics

If you explicitly choose to allow it, Serenith uses Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports and diagnostic information. This may include technical information about a crash, the app version and build, operating-system information, platform, and app environment. It does not include the personal content you enter in the app.

Crash reports and diagnostics are off by default. You can turn them on or off independently in Serenith's Settings.

How information is used

Your planning and reflection content is used only to provide Serenith's features and, if you enable it, iCloud sync. Optional analytics are used to understand aggregate product usage. Optional crash reports are used to diagnose and fix technical problems.

Serenith does not sell your personal information, serve advertising, or use your information for cross-app or cross-site tracking. Serenith does not use Firebase ad-identity support.

Service providers

Serenith relies on the following providers to operate the app:

Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Apple and Google may process information in countries other than your own as needed to provide their services.

Your choices and deletion

You can:

When you delete content in Serenith, it is removed from the app's local data and queued for removal from iCloud sync. The timing of removal from iCloud and any backups is subject to Apple's systems and policies.

Retention

Your Serenith content remains on your device and, if enabled, in your iCloud account until you delete it. Optional analytics and crash-report data are retained by Firebase according to the retention settings and policies that apply to those services. If you contact us by email, we retain your message only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide support, and keep necessary records.

Your privacy rights

You can contact us to ask about the limited information Serenith may receive through optional analytics, diagnostics, or support emails, including to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. You can delete your Serenith content in the app and manage its iCloud access in your device's system settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law.

Security

Serenith uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services for synced data. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we use the platform services and access controls provided by Apple and our service providers to protect information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Serenith changes or as legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy at the same public URL and revise the "Last updated" date.
